Portable and central vacuum systems are available in the following sizes and configurations. Midland can help you to select the pump size appropriate for your casting applications when you fill out the Pump Sizing Form.

CONFIGURATION OPTIONS

  • Horizontal tank mounted* – one pump mounted horizontally on receiver tank
  • Vertical tank mounted – one pump mounted on a vertical standing receiver tank
  • Duplex – two tank mounted pumps; one as primary and one as backup

* Horizontal tank mounted is the standard configuration

PORTABLE SYSTEM OPTIONS

The standard pump option for portable vacuum systems is an oil-sealed, rotary vane pump mounted horizontally on a receiver tank. The motor starter can be auto on-off or manual. If manual the motor will spin free while the tank is at vacuum level.

CENTRAL SYSTEM OPTIONS

The standard pump option for central vacuum systems is a dry claw vacuum pump mounted horizontally on a receiver tank.
